Deer vs Elephants

Eleventh game of the season for Catania FC, fifth time away from home.

The game is against the Deer of Brindisi, team representing a town of 82,000 people located in Apulia.

This is going to be the 11th time that Brindisi plays against Catania at home (only 2 wins for the RossAzzurri and 6 win for Brindisi in total).

Last game between the Elephants and the Deer was played in Serie D last year when Catania won 2-1 (see picture above).

Both teams are not in a very good moment. The Deer have lost 3 of the last 4 games played. They are currently third last in the ladder with 10 points, 2 less than the Elephants (13th position with 12 points). On the orher side, it has been a very tense couple of days for Catania's team after the game lost 2-0 at home against Avellino.

Last year Brindisi won its group in Serie D as Catania did.
