Sixteenth game of the season for Catania FC, eigth time at home.
The game is against Virtus Francavilla, team representing a suburb of Brindisi of 36,000 inhabitants called Francavilla Fontana, in Apulia.
This is going to be the eight time that Francavilla plays in Catania, where they have always lost. In fact Catania won all the seven games played against them (see image from last game played with them in 2022 won 1-0).
Both teams are in a great mood as they have just changed coaches and won last game. Virtus Francavilla are at the 16th position in the ladder with 15 points, 6 points less than Catania, currently 10th in the ladder with 21 points.
Last year Virtus Francavilla arrived 13th in Serie C with 45 points.
Let's hope to see a good game and that the Elephants win for the third game in a row (the fourth if we consider the win at penalties in Coppa Italia Serie C against Crotone last Wednesday).
